The “Red Ribbon in Action” AIDS Education Funding Scheme (the Funding Scheme) was launched in 2005 to provide technical and financial support to local community organisations for implementing HIV/AIDS related health promotion and education programmes. The goal is to raise public awareness and concern about HIV/AIDS and its impact on society. With the passage of time and advancements in information technology, “HIV/AIDS” is no longer a new term, and the relevant health information is readily accessible through various channels. As a result, the Funding Scheme has fulfilled its mission and will cease accepting new applications from 1 November 2024 onwards. (Those approved applications previously can be continued until completion) We extend our deepest gratitude to all participating non-governmental organisations and institutions, your contributions have enriched HIV/AIDS-related health education and made it more diverse.
